17 Weeks - Our Sweet Onion

December 22, 2012

17 WEEKS  |  PRINCESS IS THE SIZE OF AN ONION  |  5.1 INCHES & 5.9 OZ

Pic taken atop the Carnival Breeze right before setting sail!

So much cool stuff happening this week....feeling baby's tiny kicks, off from work, meeting up with great friends in Miami and a long awaited vacation to the Caribbean!!!  Woohoo!!  This week will be the great belly reveal!

Speaking of which I had to buy all new bikinis this past week because I didn't realize how much my tits grew.  They almost need their own zip code, I'm not even sure of what size bra I fit into. I'll have to go next week and see. So rather then spending hundreds I went to Target and got a few mix and match that I can wear again, or not.  I bought some solid and patterns that I can wear with my own bikinis as well.  Although the fabric isn't ideal, they have the look and size I need for my newly HUGE knockers.

I will post pics next week from the trip since I won't have my chalkboard with me.  I cannot believe after all I did to make that thing I have written on it twice and taken only one picture.  I will make myself do it weekly from here on in!

THIS WEEK.....our sweet baby girl's cartilage is turning into bone, her umbilical cord is thickening, sweat glands are developing and she's growing fat on her tiny little body.

Pic I took at my parents, scrubby.

Me with the love of my LIFE!

How far along? 17 weeks along

Total weight gain or loss: 10 lbs (gasp)

Maternity clothes? Yes....but still fitting in regular tops.

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep: Sleeping great but keeping waking up sporadically.

Best moment this week: Being on vacation from work for the first time in years, spending time with my BB and family wile relaxing in the sun.

Miss Anything? Sushi and drinks!

Movement: Yes.  Starting to feel little kicks on my right side and middle 3 fingers from my belly button.  It's WILD!

Food cravings: Can't get enough fruit, OJ, lemonade and other juices.

Anything making you queasy or sick: I can do without pork.

Labor Signs: God no!! Crazy how far away it seems that I will actually say yes.

Symptoms: Sore boobies, restless sleep, still sleepy (not as bad as it was).

Belly Button in or out? In, I really hope it doesn’t turn into and outie, that grosses me out!!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy happy HAPPY!!

Looking forward to: Laying out, frozen drinks, eating, going to places I have never been, spending QT with the fam and my lovebug and feeling my baby move more!!

Other stuff: Still getting nosebleeds, sore and dry boobs!
